CBSE orders re-exam of Class 10 Maths, Class 12 Economics papers after ‘leak’  The CBSE said on Wednesday the Class 10 mathematics and Class 12 economics board exam will be held again over reports of paper leak. The dates for the retest will be announced on the CBSE website within a week, the Board said. “The Board has taken cognizance of certain happenings in the conduct of certain examinations as are being reported. With the view to upholding the sanctity of the Board examinations and in the interest of the fairness to the students, the Board has decided to reconduct the examinations in the subjects,” a CBSE statement said. Income Tax dept freezes some bank accounts of Cognizant: Report Cognizant allegedly failed to pay the dividend distribution tax of more than 25 billion rupees in the 2016-17 financial year. BUSINESS   Updated: Mar 28, 2018 13:02 IST Reuters Cognizant said it had paid all applicable taxes due on the transaction.(Reuters File Photo) The  Income Tax department  has frozen Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp’s bank accounts and deposits in Chennai and Mumbai for allegedly evading a dividend distribution tax (DDT), according to a report on Tuesday. A  Cognizant  spokesperson confirmed the report and said in a statement that a court has instructed the tax department not to take further action pending further hearings.
